Sleight of hand describes an incredibly broad range of types of magic. My personal favorite medium is playing cards, but I also dabble in coins, and some impromptu. The illustrated effect is a classic color change with normal playing cards, but the beauty of sleight of hand skills is that they allow a performer to entertain at any time with almost any object.
